The air outside was chilly and rainy last weekend, but inside Knobs Haven Retreat House on the Loretto campus, Highland women found warmth, poetry, friendship, and lots of tasty food. Our ages ranged from twenties to eighties. Some were first timers, others attend every year.
We mixed well and shared with each other as Lauren Jones Mayfield led us out of our comfort zones, at times, to deeper levels of our souls. We explored variations of what Faith, Hope, and Love mean to each of us. It was holy ground. Thanks so much to Ginger Miller for being chief organizer for this meaningful event each year.
