This past weekend, 27 members of our Highland faith community travelled to the Motherhouse at Loretto for a time of retreat and contemplation. Much appreciation to our facilitator for the weekend, Noelle Tennis Gulden, who led us in three sessions on Seeking Shalom: Remembering Our Place in the Community of Creation. Noelle reminded us that we are part of a vast and astonishing community of creation, brought into being by a divine act of love. Though we often forget that we belong to this sacred communion, God persistently calls us back to one another, prompting us to seek shalom for all of creation.
