We continue to collect our Offering for Global Mission during October. This year’s theme is Embracing Neighbors, Nurturing Hope.
CBF Global Mission mobilizes field personnel to share the love and compassion of Christ in 13 countries around the world. Responding to God's call and empowered by the Holy Spirit, field personnel cultivate beloved community, bear witness to Christ, and seek transformational development among people who have been forgotten and forsaken by others. Our field personnel serve alongside congregations and local ministry partners within three primary contexts: global poverty, global migrations, and the global church.
As CBF Global Mission innovates for the 21st century, they have implemented an exciting new funding model for mission. The Offering for Global Mission secures the long-term presence of all CBF field personnel, providing salary, housing, and benefits; field personnel then raise support from friends, family, churches and other partners to fund their mission programming.
Highland's goal this year is $7,500. You may contribute to the Offering for Global Mission by using an offering envelope found in the pews (identifying your contribution as going for Global Mission) or via the Highland website. By giving to this offering, you join thousands of others as we collectively support the work of our field personnel around the world.
