Let us enter this season of giving full of intention and love for the work God will do through Highland’s ministries in 2026. The Faithful Giving Ministry Group has begun presenting testimonials concerning Worship and Music, congregational care of Children and Youth, along with Mission and Justice in the coming weeks. A three-four page Ministry Plan, which tracks the impact your dollars have, will be delivered during this season with information concerning the budget and its details.
For this year's Ministry Plan, we looked at how our buildings are used and how we allocate our salaries. Broadly speaking, here is where Highland is investing the $1.34 million dollars in the 2025 church budget in ministry.
In 2026, the combined estimated cost of ministry in the areas of Worship and Music, Spiritual Formation, and Mission and Justice, based on current ministry spending levels, will be similar to 2025—around $1.3 million dollars.
Your financial contributions are crucial in driving Highland Baptist Church and its ministries forward. Programs —like Wednesday night music opportunities for children, support of mission-focused Kentucky Refugee Ministries (KRM), and creating a safe space for youth to gather—all have a price, and your dollars directly impact these services.
