Highland’s Sunday morning services, at 8:45 and 11:15 a.m., are formal and spirited.
The sounds of these hour-long services are full with choral and congregational singing with our mighty Schantz organ as accompaniment. The Sanctuary Choir and small ensembles provide regular musical leadership to this service from the loft, and Highland’s Orchestra adds a rich layer of musical experience service several times a quarter.
The ministerial staff is robed and leads a full processional of staff and choir members to begin the service. Mary Alice Birdwhistell is the regular proclaimer for this service and preaches from the pulpit.
Members of our congregation – children through seniors alike – voice the prayers and litanies in this hour of worship. Come and enjoy the fullness of this Christian community!
