Vacation Bible School Camp
What is Vacation Bible School camp? Vacation Bible School Camp, or VBS Camp for short, is a weekend, overnight retreat for Highland’s youngest elementary age children. It serves as a stair-step toward our longer overnight camps for upper elementary age children and youth, and its purpose is to build relationships with one another and to provide a unique experience for spiritual formation as we draw near to God and God draws near to us. We’ll kickoff Friday early evening with a family swim at the pool, followed by camp on Saturday and Sunday (ending at ~1 pm). We’ll spend time creating crafts, playing games, engaging with Bible stories, learning how we can make a difference in the world, and have fun – all of which helps us understand what God’s love is all about.
