Sunday Mornings: Bible Study at 9:30 a.m.
Sundays are for fellowship and spiritual formation. Each Sunday during our 9:30 Bible Study hour, we begin with large group time for fellowship, games, and the occasional feast of donuts. By 9:50, we break into separate age groups to unpack scripture, explore how it relates to our daily lives, and discover the call to love all of God’s creation.
Wednesday Nights: Youth Group Faith Formation
After enjoying a dinner together with the congregation, youth head up to the Youth Room to begin their Wednesday night together as a community. From 6:00-7:15 p.m., youth gather into age groups for topical studies that explore how faith and life intersect.
Mentor Groups: Living as Community
One of the most important parts of youth ministry at Highland is building holy friendship and life-giving community. Groups gather in mentor groups every other week in homes to share their life together and support one another through the good days and bad days. Our 2015-2016 school year includes a Guys’ Group for 6th-12th grade guys, a Middle School Girls’ Mentor Group, and a High School Girls’ Mentor Group.
