In-Person Worship

Highland Baptist Church is committed to the health and safety of its members and its larger community.  HBC values and respects what science and public health research teaches us. Our HBC Pandemic Medical Task Force has been monitoring and discussing applicable guidance provided by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the CDC and other public health organizations.

The Medical Task Force has advised us that we may begin to plan to resume in-person worship to begin in June 2021.  Worship registration is no longer required before attending worship. All are encouraged to attend worship as they are able.

We will offer three in-person worship opportunities each weekend: one Friday night service (Friday Church at 7:00 p.m.) and two Sunday morning services (8:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.).  Friday Church and Sunday’s 11:15 a.m. service will be streamed online each weekend on our Facebook page and YouTube channel. We will continue offering streaming services for the future to accommodate all those unable to attend in-person.

Highland’s leadership will continue to monitor changes in pandemic developments, health and safety orders and CDC guidance as we move forward.  To the extent that circumstances call for changes in our plans and requirements, we will do our best to make changes that allow us to adapt – either by restricting or ceasing in-person worship or by expanding it.
