Since we are now worshiping on Facebook, we are missing a major  segment of our congregation. For the past fifteen years, a large portion of our worshippers have been individuals who are in recovery programs around Louisville. They are not able to worship with us on Facebook and we were concerned that they have what they need in this time of crisis. Fred Bogert contacted Wayside Christian Mission. He learned that they needed tablets and pencils and we sent them. Becky Smith learned that many of the ladies at Mattie’s House had been laid off and that food was scarce. Marty Spiegel put together a list. We put a car in a parking lot and people began to deliver food. That food was sorted and delivered on   Saturday by Barb Colvert and Becky Smith. Thanks to all of the Friday Church folk that participated with donations or delivery. “Be ye doers of the word…”.
