A Renewed Season of Men’s Ministry at Highland

The Men’s Ministry is taking root in a new way at Highland this fall, looking toward new life in the journey ahead. The Ministry seeks to provide Christian fellowship, welcome, growth, and support for all  who identify as men at Highland Baptist Church. Two important announcements are at hand!

First, on October 13, at 9:30 a.m., in the Fireside Room, we will host a pot luck Men’s Breakfast for all men in the church age 18 and up. This will be a great time to get to know one another, make new connections, and reaffirm familiar friendships. This breakfast will recur monthly and is the foundation for the Men’s Ministry, but it is not the only dreaming we are doing together. RSVP to Michael French.

Second, Perry is looking to bring back Friday morning gatherings for men in the church to gather for breakfast, fellowship and prayer. These particular gatherings will be for, but not exclusive to, more seasoned men in the church looking for ways to connect. If you are interested in receiving information about our first Friday Men’s Fellowship gathering later this month, please call the church office to ask to speak to Perry!

With Perry moving into a role as liaison for the ministry, we will continue with clergy support as we offer book studies and smaller, focused groups, while also exploring new opportunities as the men in the church feel led.

The leadership team for the Men’s Ministry currently includes: Michael French, Phillip Garrett, Billy Flood, Eric Cutler, and Ben Self. Please speak with them, or with Perry, if you would like to hear more about the Men’s Ministry in this new season together.
