EmpowerWest Welcomes Walter Brueggemann

Empower West LogoThe EmpowerWest coalition of Louisville area pastors and churches, invites you to join them for two days of special events in advance of Dr. Martin Luther King Day.

A workshop will be held on Friday, January 15 beginning at 6pm to invite more people into the work of empowering West Louisville residents by forming action teams including: Interracial Relations, Community Development, Education, Clergy/Justice, Event Planning, Business Development, Partnership Development, and Communications.

On Saturday, Dr. Walter Brueggemann will be the featured guest at two MLK celebration events: breakfast at 9am ($10 at the door) followed by worship at 11am with singers from EmpowerWest partner churches.

Events on both days take place at St. Stephen Church in Louisville. Make plans now to attend!  Childcare is available.
