This week in renovation, work continues in various areas of the building. In the connector between the new lobby and the sanctuary, the most visible addition to that space is the Juliette Norton Marvin window. This window was once part of the stone walls of the sanctuary, and was removed during renovation to create the walkway between the lobby and the sanctuary. It has been restored, reframed and placed within a wall in the connector so that this piece of our history can continue to be part of our space.
In addition, our construction team continues to address items that needed to be corrected that were identified as we created the recent punch list. This week, that has included prep and painting of a few wall spaces that needed correction.
The most recent information from our construction team anticipates that we will complete the construction portion of our project in the next 2-3 weeks. Signage and landscaping will follow soon after. We are so grateful for everyone’s flexibility as we continue through this final portion of our season of renovation. –Renee Purtlebaugh
