The ceilings are beginning to take shape! The classrooms across from the offices (rooms 101 and 103) have beautiful, new drop ceilings. This past Sunday, our preschool children enjoyed a new sense of quiet as the tiles absorbed sound as their friends played in the adjacent classroom. By Wednesday of this week, a portion of the infant room will have new ceilings, and by the end of the week, the second portion will have new ceilings as well. We continue to wait for the small tiles that will patch the areas removed in the choir room and the toddler room.
Despite Monday’s rain, the jackhammering began again in the exterior stairwell area near the education building entrance. Monday morning staff meeting moved locations due to the noise in Joe’s office, and our financial secretary has also been floating to various offices during her workday to have quiet space as well. If you need to speak with Diane, please stop by the main church office and we’ll let you know where she is working that day!
Please be sure to join us for next Sunday’s services, and the opportunity to walk-through and have a peak at what is happening in our areas of construction. The areas will be open from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
We are grateful for everyone’s flexibility as we continue through this season. Thank you for your continued patience as we navigate these waters of renovation together.
