Eight Young Adults Serve in Summer Mission Opportunities

We celebrate with these young adults as God has called and empowered them to be the hands and feet of Love in unique ways this summer!

This summer, eight young adults connected with Highland are serving in a variety of summer ministry jobs all across the world. Many of these folks are returning to the same or similar job that they did last summer as interns and counselors in a variety of places. We celebrate with them as God has called and empowered them to be the hands and feet of Love in unique ways this summer!
Sam Barrett is serving as a Bible Study Leader for PASSPORTChoices at Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina. He just received his Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Louisville.

Taylor Bell is returning as a CBF Student.Go intern in Atlanta, Georgia, where he will be a Camp Counselor at the Andrew P. Stewart Center Summer Day Camp for kids living in urban Atlanta.  e is a rising senior at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

Holly Cunningham is returning as a CBF Student.Go intern at Crescent Hill Baptist Church here in Louisville where she will teaching at a day camp for Burmese refugee students.  She is a rising senior at the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana.

Perry Dixon is serving at Highland as our Summer Youth Ministry Intern. He just completed his first year at Wake Forest University School of Divinity in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Alecia Fuller is serving as the Assistant Director for PASSPORTKids! on the West team, traveling to camp locations in Virginia, Georgia, Kentucky, and Texas.  She is in her senior year at the University of Louisville.

April Halleron will travel again to Brazil, where she will be serving for two weeks on a medical mission trip. She is in her residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Anna Holladay is returning as a CBF Student.Go intern in Bucharest, Romania, where she will be working alongside CBF field personnel at the Ruth School and leading a summer day camp for children. She will begin her first year at the Wake Forest University School of Divinity in August.

Anna Kate McWhorter is serving as a Bible Study Leader for PASSPORTMissions, traveling to camp locations in Texas, Washington, D. C., and Missouri. She is a rising junior at Berea College in Berea, Kentucky.
