Special Churchwide Gatherings

Members of Highland place a high value on fellowship as an opportunity to get to know others in the community who are also traveling this journey of faith. Through fellowship time, we hope to form bonds with others, grow spiritually with others, and learn what it means to truly be community.

There are many events throughout the year that help facilitate this, such as our annual Thanksgiving Day worship service and breakfast, the Hanging of the Green reception, our annual Christmas Banquet, the annual church picnic at Cherokee Park, and our Fall Festival for all ages. There are many other fun and fellowship-focused events that occur in the life of the church, such as a talent show called HBC Got Skillz, our annual church auction to raise money for missions, and church camping trips.
